Behind the Block: Meet Jack Fenton
If you judge people by their walk-on song, then Jack Fenton is entering the room to Return of the Mack, and honestly that tracks.
Jack is one of Glide’s Property Managers, but as it turns out, there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes. From coaching inclusive football to learning how to pick locks “recreationally”, we sat down with Jack to find out what really makes him tick.
Spoiler: it’s not just property.

It would be Forest Gump – mainly because he somehow managed to have a front-row seat to every major moment of the 20th century. Accidental icon. Effortless networking.

Jack isn’t messing around here. His final request would be an In-N-Out Burger from California, with a side of butter chicken pizza.

⚽What Jack does when he’s not at Glide
Outside of work, Jack coaches’ football for adults and children with disabilities, something he’s incredibly passionate about. He also plays and coaches Futsal, an up-and-coming sport in the UK that’s set to make its Olympic debut – big things coming.

If Jack wasn’t working in property, he’d be a film composer or music producer. Which makes sense when you find out he also plays the mandolin and ukulele.

🧠Random skills you wouldn’t expect
Jack taught himself how to pick locks recreationally after buying a lock-picking set on Amazon. Entirely legal. Slightly alarming. Very impressive.
💡Advice he’d give his younger self
Drop everything and invest heavily in Bitcoin.
Also: stop stressing about things that won’t matter in a few years – but do stress about the things that probably will.
