GO TO WHO WE ARE

Giving Back to the Community

Helping out a little helps a lot

Two of our proudest initiatives have been the CEO Sleepout and our Clothes Recycling campaigns.

In 2017, Michelle and Anand decided to do something to try and help homeless people in Manchester but didn’t know where to start. They spoke to CEO Sleepout and liked the approach of experiencing sleeping out (albeit in safe surroundings which we know homeless people do not have the luxury of) to support a charity that works tirelessly to help those forced onto the streets.

The total amount raised that evening was over £65,000, and the funds raised will help fight poverty and homelessness in Manchester by supporting the ongoing work of amazing charities such as Mustard Tree, MASH, Church Housing Trust and LCCC Foundation.

Raising awareness

We have also worked with the Aegis Trust on their clothes drive helping the Trust generate over £100,000 in just three years. Aegis aims to prevent genocide and mass atrocities across the world and we were humbled to be able to support by simply donating clothes. You can find out more about Aegis here.

In working with our clients, we just so happened across the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SPI). The SPI, also known as the Order of Perpetual Indulgence (OPI), is a charity, protest and street performance organisation that raises awareness of important issues around gender, morality and sexual intolerance.

The Sisters are a great story starting around 50 years ago and now the Sisters are all over the world spreading love and harmony. They have their own ‘House’ in Manchester that we support. You can find more about this organisation here.
